As we celebrated Labor Day in September, we reflected on the invaluable contributions of laborers and the enduring impact of the labor movement in the United States. It is this very movement that paved the way for the apprenticeship system as we know it today. But our journey doesn’t end there. With a focus on high-quality jobs for all workers in our economy, we must keep equity at the forefront of our efforts.

Additionally, we are excited to share upcoming apprenticeship funding opportunities and information on our new Funding Matrix.
In our September/October Grow Apprenticeship California newsletter, readers will find an apprenticeship program spotlight featuring Columbia College’s EMS pre-apprenticeship program. We have also received overwhelming feedback from the field to provide further knowledge and insights about apprenticeship intermediaries, so we have included additional resources aimed at helping expand knowledge about this work. Additionally, we are excited to share upcoming apprenticeship funding opportunities and information on National Apprenticeship Week 2022.

We are excited to share a new educational resource that we hope will get at the heart of intermediaries and their apprenticeship roles.
