Bridging the Gap between Education and Work through Partnerships
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
We invite you to join the Grow Apprenticeship California team from the Foundation for California Community Colleges for a pre-conference workshop, Bridging the Gap between Education and Work through Partnerships. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at OMNI Rancho Las Palmas, 41000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, California 92270. This Pre-Conference workshop is FREE and open to all California Community College Association for Occupational Education (CCCAOE) conference attendees and non-conference attendees. We will also be hosting a happy hour event after the workshop.
Join us to explore the role partnerships play in developing innovative and collaborative approaches to bridging education and work while keeping learners at the core of the conversation. Through partnerships, we can strengthen that bridge and engage in a concerted effort to ensure our learners are prepared to succeed in their career pathways. This workshop is designed to expand content knowledge and skills in a supportive and peer-to-peer learning environment, while also providing opportunities to develop effective practices and new connections. Topics will include:
Identifying what a successful and supported learner looks like
Engaging in partnerships that benefit the learner
Formalizing and sustaining partnerships
Please note: This event will have limited space, and we recommend you register no later than September 9, 2022.
Happy Hour Event to follow!
